Faith to faith: 5 - Timeless lessons I learnt while Moving from faith to faith in my Christian journey
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of
things not seen for by it the elders obtained a good report. Let the whole
earth cry foul. It will change nothing. The almighty God created this world by
faith. He saw what he wanted to create before he said what he saw and began to
make definite plans towards what he has spoken. The transition from faith to
faith is a wonderful thing.
I had given my life to Christ as a child. I remember those
days that I attended elementary school and I had a conscience that I will never
lie nor steal. It was so strong. This faith has followed me until now.
Lessons are learned in so many ways. Personally I learn from
peoples mistakes.
From faith to faith comprises of so many things you can put together .
Just like sewing a dress . The Christian race has been a challenging
one to say the least. In my other article I wrote some encouraging bible
passages tell everyone to have faith in God. I am referring to the almighty
God.
My lessons on faith to faith and glory to glory teaches a lot
- That God is no respecter of persons. I have had lots of experiences where I believe that I am not qualified to preach or teach or pray. God still gave me a nod to do it and it came really great. This has taught me a lot since I had believed that some issues are better handled by pastors. My take on this is that if you are a Christian and you set your heart that you are now ready for God then God will be ready for you.
- 2. That you can always grow and never stop learning the word of God. Some Christians are so proud. They know everything about the bible. They pick what they want from every message. There are ministries that teach only new testament. In all, I have leant to be calm and teachable. I have this belief that there are still things I don’t know I need to learn and this belief makes me learn from other pastors and churches.
- 3. Faith is a person. I will explain this in a moment. From faith to faith is all about growing in the knowledge of this person. When you know this person , this knowledge makes you do some things and keeps you from evil and harm. When you know this person, you will not lose heart. This person is none other than our lord and master Jesus Christ. He is the faith we believe and teach. Faith is a force. Faith is a spirit . but I have discovered that from faith to faith is all about growing in the knowledge of our lord and master Jesus Christ.
- 4. Faith heals and faith receives from God. Without it we can get nothing. Faith gives and faith gets. This is a secret millions of believers don’t know. Jesus told us that when we pray we should believe that God has answered our prayer.
- 5. From faith to faith and glory to glory. That path of the righteous is like a shining light that shines bright unto the glorious day. If you don’t fast and pray, faith will remain a mystery to you. Fasting gives you some sort of spiritual boldness. Fasting gives you heat and fire. Prayer helps faith. These lessons is my life lessons as i move form faith to faith and from glory to glory
